Committee details

The Committee consists of 12 members. Meetings of the Licensing Committee are open to the public, unless exempt or confidential information is being considered.

The Licensing Committee covers the following licensing matters.

-       Deals with the council’s functions as Licensing Authority under the Licensing Act 2003

-       Deals with all licensing issues apart from those related to the Licensing Act 2003 and planning legislation.

The Licensing Sub-Committee deals with specific licence applications and related issues.
