To seek blanket support for the Newhaven Business Grants Programme Grant Funding Agreements and Deed of Variations (Non-Key decision).

1)    To approve the revisions to the Newhaven Business Grants Programme authorisation process, as set out section 3 of the Leader report.

2)    To substitute the Cabinet’s resolution from 11 Nov 2021 with the revised process.

The blanket support would streamline the GFA authorisation process.

The revised process will positively impact on the time required to approve GFAs with SME businesses in Newhaven.

This proposal seeks to streamline an existing process. No alternative options are applicable.
