Decision details

To approve the amendment to the regulatory services enforcement policy, and to approve 3 new policies in respect of smoke and carbon monoxide alarm regulations 2015; redress scheme for lettings agencies; and determining charges for breaches of housing legislation.

(1) Full council recommended to adopt the regulatory services enforcement policy (amended), redress schemes enforcement policy, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms enforcement policy and statement of principles for determining the amount of a penalty charge.

(2) Full council recommended to delegate the administration and enforcement of the above policies and statement in exercise of relevant legislation to the senior head.
