Election of chair of the sub-committee for this meeting

Minutes:

Resolved that Councillor Adeniji be elected Chair of the Sub-Committee for the duration of the meeting.

Exclusion of the public and press

To consider, under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 (as

amended), excluding the public and press from the meeting during the discussion of Item 4 on this agenda, as there are likely to be a disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1, 2 and 7 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act (detailed below). It is considered that the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.

7.     Information relating to any action taken or to be taken in connection with the prevention, investigation or prosecution of a crime.

 

Minutes:

Resolved, that under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended), the public and press be excluded from the hearing as there was likely to be disclosures of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1, 2 and 7 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act. The public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.

Determination of 'fit & proper' status of a Dual Private Hire and Hackney Carriage Driver Licence Applicant

Minutes:

Resolved that the licence be granted with a warning that should any incident, of any nature, be brought to the attention of the Licensing Authority, then that matter will be bought back to a Licensing Sub Committee for consideration. The warning to stay on record for three years.
