Consultation process
The Draft Tourist Accommodation Retention Supplementary Planning Document was drafted in consultation with Local Plan Steering Group, and engagement with Eastbourne Hospitality Association and other tourist accommodation providers.
Following authority from Cabinet, the Draft Tourist Accommodation Retention Supplementary Planning Document will be published for consultation with the local community and other stakeholders for a eight-week period.
Making Representations: The report requests authority to publish the draft SPD for public consultation. Representations received during this consultation will be considered in preparing the final version, which will be presented back to Cabinet and Full Council for adoption in the summer.
