Consultation process
Consultation on an HMO Development Plan Document (DPD) was undertaken over summer 2024. This is now being progressed at an SPD rather than a DPD, but responses to the HMO DPD consultation have been taken into account in preparing the SPD
Following authority from Cabinet, the HMO SPD will be published for consultation with the local community and other stakeholders for an eight-week period.
Making Representations: The report requests authority to publish the SPD for public consultation. Representations received during this consultation will be considered in preparing the final version, which will be presented back to Cabinet and Full Council for adoption in the summer.
