Cabinet will be asked to recommend that full council approve the authority’s annual “pay policy statement” as required under S.38 of the Localism Act 2011.   The statement sets out the council’s policies in relation to pay, including details of chief officers’ remuneration.  This edition of the statement will take into account the transfer of staff employed by Lewes District Council to Eastbourne Borough Council as agreed under the councils’ joint transformation programme for delivery of council services across both authorities.
