Community Infrastructure Levy Recommendations for Spending

The Lewes District Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Charging Schedule came into force on 1 December 2015 and CIL money has been collected ever since. Infrastructure providers will be invited to bid for CIL funding for 6 weeks from 10 September 2018. The report will present the recommendations of the CIL Management and Executive Boards following the assessment of infrastructure project bids by Members and officers.

Consultation process

Infrastructure Providers will be invited to submit bids over a 6 week window from 10 September 2018. The bids will be assessed by the CIL Management Board (19 November 2018) and Executive Board (11 December 2018) formed of officers and councillors.

Making Representations: All bids received from Infrastructure Providers will be assessed by officers. The CIL Boards will make their recommendations on the preferred proposals.
