Lewes District Local Plan Part 2 - Publication of main modifications for consultation

The Examination Inspector has recommended that a number of modifications should be made to the Local Plan Part 2 in order to make it ‘sound’. Cabinet is sought to publish these modifications for a 6 week period for public representations to be made and to authorise the Director of Regeneration and Planning to submit these modifications, together with any duly made representations, to the examination.

Consultation process

The modifications will be available on the Council’s web site and hard copies will also be made available at Southover House and at all local libraries, All statutory bodies and individuals or organisations that have previously commented on the Local Plan or asked to be informed of the progress of the Local Plan Part 2 will be notified by email or letter. Representations must be submitted within 6 weeks of notification.
