Purpose:
To take forward a review of the Council’s grant policy, as agreed by Cabinet in February 2020, in line with the new corporate plan, with recommendations for potential options being reported to a future meeting of the Cabinet.
Decision:
(1) To agree a consultation exercise to seek views regarding future options on the awarding of grants to voluntary and community organisations, as set out in appendix A to the report.
(2) That, following the consultation, further consideration be given to the grants policy at a future meeting of the Cabinet.
Reasons for the decision:
To enable the views of local voluntary and community groups to be sought ahead of any changes being made to the council’s voluntary sector grants policy.

None at this stage.
