Those attending introduced themselves and the procedure for the hearing was explained. The Licensing Officer presented the Report to the Sub Committee, summarised the details and answered questions from Members. Sue Lindsey addressed the Sub Committee on behalf of the applicant and responded to questions Denham Vokins addressed the Sub Committee on behalf of Sussex Police, which had made an objection to the application. Mr Vokins presented the concerns of Sussex Police and answered questions from Members. Ms Lindsey, as the applicant’s representative, had the opportunity to sum up. Mr Vokins, as the representative from Sussex Police, also summed up. The Sub Committee adjourned at 10:50 to consider the application and returned at 11:30 to advise of the following decision: Resolved to allow the Temporary Event Notice.
