Specialist Advisor (Conservation) to report on applications.

Chris Connelley, Specialist Advisor, Conservation, gave a presentation of the one application and the Group considered the proposal.

Proposal: Erection of one illuminated archway sign

CAG comment: The Group generally welcomed the proposal and agreed that it preserved the character of the conservation area. A request was made that consideration be given to incorporating the star design from the existing railings into the new archway, to help ensure consistency between the old and the new, and to installing more of the railings across the whole of the frontage at further stages of development.
